History-
Bandikui is very famous from the time of British rules. It is very well known in Rajasthan for its handmade items. They are very famous in whole India. That’s why its famous for small businesses and the first train of Rajasthan was run from Bandikui to Agra fort. That’s why it’s called railway city also. British emperors established a market here, called Angreji Bazaar (British Market). It’s famous for its well designed map and still foreigners come there to watch that market. A very famous place Abhaneri (Abhay Nagri) is situated in south east of the city. Its 7 kms far from Bandikui. It’s a tourist palace. There are two things which are unforgettable. One is Chand Bawri and the other is temple of Harshad Mata. Both places are famous for the architecture on stone. One more place is there which makes bandikui interesting, it is Jhajirampura. Its 12 kms far from Bandikui. Jhajirampura is a beautiful picnic spot. It is famous for a cow-mouth. Water is coming through all the year from this cow-mouth. There is a big garden of lotus also.
